How to get connected

First Look Class

At City Church attending our New Member Class is not required to become a member of our fellowship, but is recommended and encouraged.  You need to know who we are, what we believe and how we function.  We want to be open with you so you will understand our purpose.

Registration is required.

We encourage anyone who wants to find out who we are to attend.  You may be new and just want to ask some questions.  We would love to have you attend this meeting.

Every month on the first Saturday, we have a New Member and Information Class.

  • Time:  4:00 pm
  • Where:  City Church Office / Suite 4
  • Preregistration:  Required

Membership

We at City Church feel that every Follower of Jesus should be an active member of a local church.

While we encourage all to attend our New Member and Information Class, it is not a requirement for membership.  Many join and then attend our class.

If you would like to request membership online we ask you to read the following links on our site and prayerfully accept each of these by faith.  We at City Church expect faithfulness of our members and want you to have a clear understanding of who we are, so we ask you to prayerfully read the following before requesting membership.

Baptism

"...Those who believed what Peter said were baptized and added to the church that day—about 3,000 in all."

Acts 2:41

At City Church we believe the Scriptures are clear on Believer's Baptism.  If a person claims to be a follower of Jesus Christ then one of the first acts of obedience is baptism.

We also believe the Scriptures are clear on the method of baptism.  Jesus was immersed by John to set the example.  Baptism doesn't make you a Christian nor does it make you a member of City Church.  It is testimony to your commitment as a believer.
